For those of you with Galaxy S4 GT-i9500, you can now enjoy the best of Note 4 features and Galaxy S6 with the latest Aurora N4/S6 Port ROM.
Based on latest Android 5.0.1 TouchWiz firmware, Aurora ROM brings you a lot of options for you to install in its AROMA installer. This is the ultimate custom ROM for those of you who want to run a fast TouchWiz Lollipop ROM with features from Note 4 and Galaxy S6.
For camera, you also have the option of installing S4, Note 4, or Galaxy S6 camera. Although not every mode is working with the Note 4 or S6 camera, normal shooting works fine. You can also change the camera by re-running the AROMA installer.
You will also find a load of great themes to choose from along with various different launchers (see latter part of video overview for all options in AROMA installer). Performance is excellent on this ROM, I was able to score near 30K on Antutu.
That’s not all, there’s even more customization through Aurora Settings, which allows you to tweak your status bar, power menu, calling, and more. Overall, this is definitely a fun TouchWiz Lollipop ROM you try so definitely give it a go this week(end) and do let me know what you think!
What is a Custom ROM?
A custom ROM is a custom, modified operating system that you can install on your Android device. Basically it's like installing Windows OS on a Macbook. By installing a custom ROM, you can bypass stock factory settings like locked hotspot tether, install new Android versions early, or even convert your phone into another OS.
With a custom ROM, you can really maximize the capabilities of your smartphone by adding custom features that have been developed by open source developers.
