For this week’s Sprint Galaxy S4 SPH-L720 ROM of the week, check out the latest version of Force ROM.
Force ROM is based on MDL Sprint firmware and comes with KTweaker/Ktoonseze kernel with support for overclocking up to 2.3Ghz.
You will find KTweaker app on-board so you can overclock your CPU to 2.3Ghz (although I don’t recommend OC unless you absolutely need it) and also undervolt CPU to save battery life. (Be careful when undervolting as your phone can freeze, just try small changes at a time.)
Some great features included hacked native hotspot (free wifi tethering), Viper4Android Sound Mod (for tweaking your sound on speakers/headphones), long-press menu kill button, 4-in-1 boot menu, and some more.
The coolest feature on the Force ROM is its transition animations. Once you use it, you will love it over stock transitions.
Overall, Force ROM is really for those of you looking for an efficient Sprint ROM without all the bloatware. You will find most of Samsung bloatware removed on this ROM while it has been optimized for faster performance and better battery life.
If this fits your flashing budget, flash it this week(end) and do let me know what you think!

What is a Custom ROM?
A custom ROM is a custom, modified operating system that you can install on your Android device. Basically it's like installing Windows OS on a Macbook. By installing a custom ROM, you can bypass stock factory settings like locked hotspot tether, install new Android versions early, or even convert your phone into another OS.
With a custom ROM, you can really maximize the capabilities of your smartphone by adding custom features that have been developed by open source developers.
How to Install Custom ROMs
First, you will need to root your device, if it is not rooted yet, follow our root tutorial and root your phone.
Once rooted, you should have TWRP installed on your phone. Installation of a custom ROM is easy if you learn the basic of it. If you don't know how to install custom ROMs using TWRP recovery, see our tutorial on How to Install Custom ROM using TWRP!
