I know some of you asked me for the stock Android 4.4.2 KitKat firmware for those of you on older MDK bootloader with Verizon Galaxy S4. Well, there’s a ROM for that!
Yes, this stock Android 4.4.2 KitKat ROM comes with root and also AROMA graphical installer which allows you to choose every app installed on your Verizon S4. In fact, you can remove every Samsung/Verizon app if you want to.
Other than that, this ROM does have unlocked bootloader along with KToonsez kernel, which allows for overclocking. Also you will find nifty apps like Wanam Xposed app to fully tweak your UI and Xposed App Settings to run your apps in tablet/hybrid/custom DPI mode. Oh yeah, there is a modded 4×5 TouchWiz launcher so you can fit more apps.

What is a Custom ROM?

First, you will need to root your device, if it is not rooted yet, follow our root tutorial and root your phone.
